An Evening in Edmonds $13

Enjoy the sea breeze and evening sun in Edmonds, along
with the monthly Art Walk. Many shops, galleries and
restaurants to explore. Dinner on your own.
Puyallup Farmer’s Market $13
Saturday, August 9, 9:30am - 3:30pm
My favorite farmer’s market. Enjoy the market and explore
downtown Puyallup as well.
Windstar Garden $12
Thursday, August 14, 10 am - 4 pm
This is a private garden tour which our van driver, David,
has arranged. Bring a sack lunch for this tour/talk.
Black Diamond Bakery/Branches Garden $13

Lunch on your own in the historic Black Diamond Bakery
with time at Branches Garden Center.
Our friends at Merrill Gardens West Seattle - 4611 35th SW have offered to provide transportation (as space is available) for some of their day trips. If interested in being on their list to be notified - Call 206 932-5480 . Trips depart early at. 8:30am. Parking is available around their building and possibly in their garage.

Barclay Lake, Monday July 7, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., $14
Enjoy a gentle forested hike to lovely Barclay Lake with a
stunning view of Baring Mountain. 4 miles round trip;
Challenge Hike: Annette Lake
Monday, August 18, 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., $14
An uphill trek through dense forests, along Humpback
Creek, to a beautiful alpine lake! 7.5 miles round trip;
1400’ elevation gain. Serious climbing, but worth the
effort! Hiking poles recommended.
Monday September 8, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., $9
Choose from a gentle walk along the lake, or a strenuous
uphill trek to an overlook of the central Cascades (4 miles
round trip, 1100’ elevation gain). Hiking poles recommended.
First Time Hikers: Nisqually Wildlife Refuge
Monday, September 22, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., $14
Try a beautiful flat 1-mile boardwalk loop or up to 4 miles
of other trails at NWR, home to more than 300 species of
birds, fish and mammals. Wheelchair accessible. Bring $1
cash or Senior Pass for entrance fee.
